Threats and security performance

Threats that could affect performance to your internet are/ 1. Viruses..Although not as popular as they once was. A virus can end up affecting not only your internet experience it can also affect your pc, tablet or phone as you could you could be sent a pop up or be asked to click on something familiar to you that could send you a virus via the internet. 2. Scams. These can be emails or texts pretending to be a trustworthy company such as Royal Mail or Amazon. It may be a link to say that you have missed a deleivery and asks you to give information such as address or even say you owe money to collect. These scams are quite popular as the scammers can recreate a website easily so you think its the actual website you are on. 3.Downloading Apps etc. You can download apps or software online. These could come from well known sources but these still could contain viruses or bugs that could affect your pc etc but also collect information. There are some trustworthy sites you can download from but still always be careful.
